Let's Start with TrAvEl.

School has been out for over a month, and so far it has been pretty eventful. I went to Illinois from June 5th -10th and that was totally worth it. It is good to see friends and meet their families etc. Now I am at Granddaddy's in Pawley's Island raiding Delores' computer. Heck, no one is here yet I mine as well entertain myself. (Not that watching golf and observing Granddaddy fall asleep and snore with his mouth wide open is not entertaining.)

The trip down here from Iowa was terrible though. Well, actually, it was quite smooth until we got to Atlanta, Georgia. Then all hell broke loose, excuse my French that isn't French. First, my mom and I landed, got off the plane, and then discovered that our 1:25 p.m. flight to Myrtle Beach was cancelled. Ok, no big deal right? That is what one would think. However, we were rebooked on the later flight, that was then delayed 3 hours. YAY!! Exactly. So we chilled in the airport for 4 extra hours but grabbed some lunch and Starbucks. Tried to work out a way for Cecelia to hitch a ride with my Steve and head to Sue's and then drive down here. Was a fun idea until Granddaddy said their was no room in inn. Bollucks!! Well, not really seeing how there will be 16 people staying in a 12 person beach house. I am getting pumped for a week of fun with my family, and observing more of my Aunt Jenny's hilarious humor.

Once we finally made it to Myrtle Beach guess what happened? GUESS!! Just kidding, I will enlighten you. The airline lost our luggage. Perfect right? Apparently it would be coming on one of the 8 later flights, possibly tomorrow, etc. My mom and I got the whole run down on how we should wait at the airport for our luggage to arrive. What were they thinking? It is their job to make sure our luggage got there, in face we had to pay an extra $15 to do so. They can kiss my ass. Anyway, we told them they better deliver it, so at 11 last night they dropped my mom's off. Like a respectable southern woman Delores even tipped the man. At some point in the night they came back and dropped mine off on the purch. Delores brought it up to me this morning. If you think about it, the whole trip techincally went from 4 am Friday morning to 9 am this morning. Goodness gracious.

Hopefully Sue, Christina, and Stephen won't have as much trouble as I did getting down here. I am guessing they won't judging by the fact that they are driving. I will pray that they don't have any trouble, with the car or with eachother. Trouble free in general.

Well I must be off, going to do something beach related hopefully. Peace out homes.
